Clara & Dany – Married

Clara and Dany were married earlier this year at the beautiful Stanford Memorial Chapel, down in Palo Alto, CA. They are a lovely couple and had guests flying in from all over the world (literally). It was really cool and the ceremony and reception was even split between English and French (Canadian)! Tres chouette! Est-ce que vous connaiez que je peux parler en francais? C'est vrai, seulement un petit peu... hahaha. It was perfect for me though because I'm a big ol francophile and I just love being around the language. 🙂 Check out some of my favorite shots from the big day: Cara & Dany | San Francisco Wedding Photographer Cara & Dany | San Francisco Wedding Photographer Cara & Dany | San Francisco Wedding Photographer The awesome shot above of Dany with his cuff links was taken by the fabulous Morgan Bellinger of Move Photography.  Thanks Morgan! Look what was for dinner... my favorite!  You know I can't help myself when it comes to taking pics of the food... and I have to say, this filet mignon was up there with some of the best I've ever had at a wedding.  It was cooked at a perfect medium and was super juicy and flavorful.  I would have taken a shot of the steak cut up but I ate it too fast, oops.  Us photographers don't have that much time to eat! Press: BARK Magazine

I am thrilled to announce that BARK magazine has used a bunch of my Muttville photos for this month's issue!  They are included in the article about fostering, about halfway through the magazine.  Check it out! I took these photos at a Muttville fundraising event over the summer.  I love working with Muttville - if you don't already know, they are an SF-based senior dog rescue.  Yes, they specialize in rescuing senior dogs (6+ years) and finding forever homes or hospice for them.  They are really amazing and they've saved over 500 dogs! For more info visit www.muttville.org.  You can make donations right on the page (tax deductible) and if you live in the SF Bay Area there are always awesome fundraising events you can attend! Muttville is also Scutte's non-profit partner.  Scutte is my dog clothing and accessories company.  The necktie collars and tshirts that the dogs are wearing in some of the photos are from my Scutte line! www.scutte.com Bark Magazine | San Francisco Dog Photographer Bark Magazine | San Francisco Dog Photographer Bark Magazine | San Francisco Dog Photographer

Junior League Home Tour 2009

The 2009 SF Junior League Home Tour was absolutely spectacular this year.  This year, the tour was organized up in the Pacific Heights neighborhood.  If you're not familiar with the Junior League, the Junior League is a national philanthropic organization comprised of only women who throw exciting fundraising events that give back to the community.  Some famous Junior League members include Eleanor Roosevelt, Sandra Day O'Connor, Katherine Hepburn, Laura Bush... and there are more. The reason I like working with the Junior League is because its really empowering to work with a group of powerful women who are working towards a common goal. It also doesn't hurt to know that ultimately it's about giving back to the community, a win-win for everyone! Here are some of my favorite shots from some of the homes...
