Doug and Kim were married earlier this year in San Francisco.  Since we didn't have time for the standard complimentary engagement session that is included with all wedding packages, we planned a post-wedding photo session.  I think I'll call my post-wedding day couple portrait sessions the "a la mode" session since it's kind of hard for me to mentally wrap my mind around calling a session a "trash the dress" and I'm not wild about calling it "we did" or "day after" something like that.  So I'll just call it the "a la mode" session hehee - it's all the goodness of being married... documenting a couple together for the first time! ...Anyway, onto the photos! We started off on Doug and Kim's rooftop deck and made our way out to Fisherman's Wharf then the Golden Gate Bridge.  It was a lovely evening and I'm totally in love with the last shot!

Joe and Shiloh are a great couple from down in So Cal.  They came up to the Bay Area for their wedding in June and I was lucky to meet them beforehand to snap some engagement photos!  We met up out by the Golden Gate Bridge and had a great time getting to know each other and taking some awesome shots... check em out!

Xochitl is a 9 month old Mexican Hairless puppy that I got to shoot portraits of a couple weeks ago in the awesome and industrial neighborhood of West Oakland.  She's so interesting looking, you can't tell if she's a mix or part Chinese Crested or what.... X-dog (as her mom likes to call her) is a very good puppy and she's good buddies with Harley too! psssst.  See that cool collar Xochitl's wearing?  Her mom has a rad leather collar company called Paco Collars.  It's based right here in the Bay Area and they do fabulous handcrafted leather collars, leashes and even stuff for humans!
