Project DOG: San Francisco Casting Call

Project DOG | San Francisco Casting Call Calling all dogs in the beautiful Bay Area! We're kicking off Project DOG by putting together a special edition Project DOG San Francisco book, and we need to find all of the dogs for our first go! This book will be submitted to the Blurb Photography Now Book competition on July 14th, so it is very urgent that we find and photograph all of the dogs we can in JUNE. We are looking for the AKC's top 50 dog breeds (or as many as we can find!) living in the SF Bay Area. There will be 2 dogs featured per breed, a purebred and a rescue dog of each. Mixed breed rescue dogs will be considered and are welcome to enter. If you or anyone you know has a dog and live in the Bay Area, please submit your dog now for our book!  All dogs entered who do not fit the book criteria are welcome to be featured on the Project DOG website.  Project DOG is an ongoing dog photo project and we will be working on the signature book, which features dogs nationwide in the coming months. The dogs chosen for the book will receive:
  • a complimentary photo session by award-winning photographer Kira Stackhouse (the $300 session fee will be waived)
  • up to 1 hour of unlimited shooting in the location of your choice (10mi radius of zipcode 94102, any distance beyond is $1/mi each way)
  • 30 fully edited digital proofs in a password protected gallery
  • Link to download all web-friendly files
All of the photos from the session will be available to you to view and purchase prints/products. Session *must* be booked in JUNE, weekdays preferred, very limited availability on the weekend. Deadline to enter your dog is May 29th.

Once completed, Project DOG San Francisco will be available to purchase on the Blurb.com site!
