Heather + Jonathan = Married! | San Francisco Wedding Photography

These photos are long overdue.... finally, time to blog Heather and Jonathan's wedding!  I shot their wedding earlier this summer down in Cupertino.  They had a very small wedding in a chapel not far away from the gorgeous Cypress Hotel, where the reception was held. I was really excited for this wedding because they are such fun people - I had a blast with them for their engagement session and I knew their wedding would be great.  Heather is an interior designer and she designed the reception hall. It was gorgeous as you can tell from the pics below! I have to say, the portraits I shot of Heather and Jonathan are some of my favorite of ALL TIME.  Seriously. The lobby at the Cypress is so dramatic and there's alot of richness in the wood paneling and textured prints... sooooo awesome!! The reception was really fun.  The entire reception hall was designed by Heather - there was lavender lighting and it was very modern looking with the peacock feather theme (matching her hair piece and boutonnieres).  Jonathan loves to fly planes and Heather surprised him with an airplane cake!  It was about 4' wide!! Jonathan had no clue... it was really neat to see his reaction when he saw it for the first time, hehe. 🙂 Rings are some of my favorite things to shoot at a wedding - so that is why there are so many ring pics, hehe. I always try to find ways to take ring shots that compliment the theme of the wedding. Onto the pics!
