Heather & Shawn | San Francisco Wedding Photographer

Heather and Shawn got married in September at the beautiful Pema Osel Ling Retreat Center right outside of Santa Cruz. The place was gorgeous -- nestled in the redwood forest, completely secluded from the modern world. It was really refreshing to be back outside in nature since I haven't emerged from the SF city limits in ohh... a few months... it was REALLY HOT in the early afternoon, and I really wasn't used to it since I'm spoiled with San Francisco's nice moderate weather... What a great couple -- many thanks to them for letting me shoot their wedding - and for being so calm and down to earth! It was the most NON-chaotic, NO-stress wedding ever -- every photographer's dream. The simplicity of it all - from the flowers to the ceremony just made the entire day so memorable. It's easy to get lost in the craziness of a wedding day -- keeping it simple let everyone really enjoy each other and the celebration. When I arrived, the first thing I saw were the flowers....
