Muttville Senior Dog Rescue Day at SF City Hall

Last evening was Muttville's official celebration on the steps of SF City Hall.  I was so thrilled to hear that Muttville received this great honor and I definitely did not want to miss this historic moment! I have been working with Muttville here and there over the past few years - I started working with them shortly after they launched as an official 501(c)3 (and right after I launched Scutte) and was the first to starting Muttville dogs as dog fashion models. 🙂  I will always have my good friend and "dog world" colleague Aishe, owner of SF Puppy Prep for connecting me with Muttville.  It's been amazing to watch Muttville grow - in just a few short years they went from rescuing a handful of dogs a month to hundreds of dogs a year. As a dog lover, I'm so happy that Muttville exists and that there is an organization that welcomes and advocates for senior dogs, because everyone gets old! I arrived a little early to start snapping pics of arriving dogs and people and boy did this event turn out great.  There were well over 100 people there (I'm guesstimating), tons of dogs (including many Muttville alumni), reporters and supporters! What a great feeling to be at this event with so many people who have opened their hearts to senior dogs - volunteers, new and old adoptive families.  It was really neat to see everyone sharing their dog's stories and celebrating Muttville! You can find some of my favorite pics below (very hard to choose).  If you'd like to view ALL of the event images and purchase prints/products, CLICK HERE. Sales will be donated to Muttville! I also made a Facebook album HERE with all of the photos. Muttville Senior Rescue Dog Day | San Francisco Dog Photographer Everyone heading over to the steps of City Hall.
