Rescue Me: Essie the Chihuahua

Meet Esmerelda, aka "Essie", a cute little Chihuahua who I met at the Whole Enchihuahua event last weekend.  She is looking for her forever home and is currently with A Leg Up Rescue. Here is her description from the website:

Essie is 3 yrs. old & weighs about 7 lbs. She is very overweight for her size & needs to lose up to 2 lbs. She is having trouble enjoying her walks & cannot go up or down stairs. She is a sweet dog who enjoys the company of people & other small dogs. Essie is looking for a special person who can help her regain her health & put some pep in her step!
