Rescue Me: Muttville Dogs

I went to Muttville yesterday to take photos of dogs. I was excited because now that my book production is pretty much done, I can start volunteering regularly, and yesterday was my first "regular" visit. We decided it would be a great idea for the website photos to have a more consistent look, so I trekked over with my backdrop kit and different colored papers. We decided on red (for the holidays) and will probably switch things up in the future... I can't freaking wait!! So much fun! Here's a photo of each of the dogs from yesterday, they are all looking for their forever homes!

Panda 3

Breed American Eskimo Mix Gender Male Size Medium Neutered Yes Status Available Panda has the most soulful eyes. As he calmly walks around the Muttville headquarters, he curiously pokes his head in and out of every room. He loves gentle pets to his head, face and back areas mostly; his eyes close as if he is in a heavenly space. Panda has obviously came from an unhappy place, where he did not get the love and affection he is getting today. This 11 year old American Eskimo mix would love an adult only forever home that is quiet and patient with him getting adjusted to a life full of love. adopt Panda!

Breed Beagle Mix Gender Male Size Small Neutered Yes Status Available Casper is such a survivor, this little beagle mix lost his home and lost his eye but not his waggy tail!! He is just happy to be out of the shelter in Bakersfield and into a foster home! We think he is 8 years old, he is a good pooch, loves his walks and going for car adventures, too. He LOVES to go for walks and is houestrained. He is OK with other dogs but prefers humans for companionship! He will make you laugh and be a great best friend! adopt Casper!

Kelly & Al

Breed Bichon Frise Gender Female and Male Size Small Neutered Yes Status Available These two poor muffins were abandoned at the shelter and were in horrible shape. Kelly and Al are a bonded pair of Bichon Frises, we think they are around 10 yrs old. These two depend on each other, sleep together and Muttville is only adopting them out to a home together. Kelly is the shy girl and Al is a bit more outgoing, they are fine with other dogs, too. We are looking for a special home that would enjoy watching these two blossom and enjoy life after so much neglect. Al loves giving kisses! adopt Kelly & Al!

Axl

Breed Chihuahua Mix Gender Male Size Small Neutered Yes Status Available How could you resist Axl? Those floppy ears that bounce as he trots around, his silly crooked legs and that sweet smile. Axl was going to be euthanized by SF ACC due to overpopulation when Muttville stepped in and saved his life. This guy is so funny and gets along with everyone! He bonds very quickly to humans and loves to follow you around. Axl is about 10 years old and has lots of spunk in him. He is ready for his new forever home!
