Sierra Club’s Daily Ray of Hope

A few weeks back I submitted an image to Sierra Club's Daily Ray of Hope Group on Flickr. Everyday, Sierra Club chooses an image which they think is "inspirational"... it's a daily e-newsletter with inspiring stories and images. Look and see for yourself! Click here for more info about Sierra Club. The image that was chosen is a purple water lilly, shot in June of 04 at the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco. If you look closely to the right, there is a little dragonfly on the leaf... pretty cool eh? Some of my favorite things to shoot are flowers and plants... the Conservatory is always having nice rotating shows featuring interesting plants and flowers....
