Dear Ellen: Dradis Actual
Dear Ellen,
Sorry I've been MIA. Too busy over here!! The past week has been very exciting yet also very boring and super insane, if those words can even go together. The weather has been making me very blah - but this week the sun finally decided to come out and San Francisco is finally starting to see summer.
Last weekend I had a photoshoot with Pacey the Flat Coated Retriever. After weeks of fog, cold and overall gloom, the sun came out on the day of my photoshoot. It was a gorgeous freaking day and we met up out by the Cliffhouse in San Francisco - an area that drops off down to the ocean, where there are old bath house ruins, the beach, and lots of cypress trees and wild succulents. It's very cool.
So yeah, meet Pacey (below). What a fracking cool dog. Yes, I just say frackin (because I just finished watching all 4.5 seasons of Battlestar Galactica and I'm obsessed... LOVE IT!!). Anyway, I have to admit I'm not really a "retriever" kind of person, but i REALLY liked this dog. He had the fun energy of a little terrier, with the gorgeous coloring of a burmese cat and the size of a typical retriever. I was impressed and he definitely left a really good impression on me. He likes you too.
...Back to Battlestar... have you seen it? Do you like it? Is it too geeky for you? I freaking LOVEd it and I definitely spent the past 3 weeks watching it every night (3-4 episodes) until about 2am or 3am (shhh don't tell anyone). This show has definitely been good for me - a) i dont watch tv, it made me want to totally geek out and watch it every night b) it is very thought provoking and i've even been having Battlestar dreams (it's true. Col. Tye and Prez. Roslin making quesadillas... weirdo!) c) frackin A i just can't stop thinking about it. It's like how I was when LOST ended... only better. I feel like a giddy teenager or something... Please tell me why did this show have to end? ...I wish there were more episodes!!
Back to reality... I've been really kray these days with Project DOG. I'm starting to believe that I was born to do this Project - it's my destiny!! Project DOG is really starting to take a life of its own. I didn't tell you before because I didn't want to jinx it but I was asked to be a guest blogger for Trupanion Pet Insurance. Can you believe it?!! I asked my Facebook fans what pet insurance was their favorite, and Trupanion was definitely the one... so that made me feel good about being the guest blogger. So last Thurs my first of two posts went live, and what a success it was! YOU CAN READ IT HERE. I was thrilled to see people commenting on the post and all of the Facebook "likes"... woo hoo!!! I'll be posting my press release and other media goodies soon...
Just to let you know, here's where I'm at with the stats.... pretty incredible for only being officially online for 8 weeks!!
Facebook: 680 fans
