Be EcoChic – Fashion for the Environment!

As many of you know, I had the opportunity to attend Be EcoChic, the awesome fashion show event/fashion week kickoff in NYC last week. It was soo awesome! The event took place in the Museum of Natural History in the Milstein Hall of Oceans. You probably know the room -- the one with the giant whale suspended from the ceiling. The runway was in a U-shape right below the whale = AMAZING! I'm really proud to have been able to shoot this event, as many of you know that I am a big advocate for the environment and living responsibly and of all the fashion shows I could shoot, I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to shoot Be EcoChic. It was really a wonderful experience and I hope that this campaign will continue to spread the word of environmentalism in the fashion industry for many years to come.

I've also realized from the magnitude of this event that although fun, press photography is not my career goal. (no offense press photogs!)  ...I did really enjoy shooting the fashion show however, it was definitely spontaneous and fancy like a wedding but upbeat and energetic like a concert... = EXCITING. Anyhow, check out some of the photos! There were celebs as guests and runway walkers... it was truly a star-studded event. I'll start from the beginning -- the photos will be in chronological order. Adrian Grenier from Entourage came to support the show! ...Now onto the fashion show! Sierra Club's Executive Director Carl Pope co-hosts the event with supermodel Angela Lindvall.
