Friday Photo Tip #13: Super Headshots: You Better Work… Sashay, Shante!

TGIF! It's a drizzly damp overcast day out here in San Francisco and the weather is bringing me down, so hopefully this tip will be happier than the mood I'm currently in, LOL.   I just looked out the window and there are about 20 umbrellas walking down the street, pretty depressing for a Friday afternoon.

#13 Super Headshots: You Better Work... Sashay, Shante!

Today's tip is very simple.  I'm thinking, ....Supermodel?  It's all about headshots.  My simple tip when shooting headshots or any "posed" shot of a person - have your subject twist their torso a bit before you take the photo.  Having the shoulders turned a bit will not only help your subject sit up straighter, but it will help create depth in the photo, so the viewer can focus more on the face!
