Dear Ellen: A Rush and A Push

Dear Ellen, Things have been slow, sorry for bailing out last week on my letter, I have no excuse really.  Anyway, it's been a pretty crappy few days so I probably won't be writing much today. A few days ago I found out that one of my good friend's husband suddenly passed away so things have been kind of weird and it's just starting to set in now which sucks.  Stuff like this always makes you put your own life in perspective, I'm definitely in "life evaluation mode" right now.  He was a really nice guy.  I didn't know him too well, but the handful of times I met him and the way that my friend used to talk about him made him seem like a really great, genuine person.  It's just so terrible knowing that he is gone and my friend is so torn up, I hate that. So about an hour after I got the horrible news I had a photoshoot with Humphrey the Great Dane.  It was perfect timing to get my mind on something else.  He's just a young lad and very HUGE, lol.  Apparently he has about 40-45 more lbs to gain before he's "full grown", I'd like to see that!  Humphrey's photoshoot was the best part of my weekend, I love having dog photo shoots... they really really reaaaally make me happy.... which is why I can't frakkin wait to get all of my dogs for Project DOG so I can actually go and get started snappin everyone. Here's the shot I took with you and Humphrey.  He ran away with your face around the car when we showed it to him... love at first sight! Here's another one of my favs: That's it for this week. I'm pressing play now on my Smiths shuffle mix. Nothing like listening to dry sarcastic Smiths songs, my favorite. TTYL,
