Dear Ellen: Progress Schmogress

Dear Ellen, I don't have much to report to you this week.... a few things... Remember that contest I was telling you about?  Well, popular vote in the SF Bay Area has ranked me 2nd Best Pet Photographer for the SF Gate BayList contest.  I'm kind of bummed but also happy because I'm glad I placed at all - and 2nd isn't so bad for being the 1st time ever running in this contest.  So yay, and here's to next year. This past week was my week to adjust since coming back from vacation so I didn't have too many photoshoots booked.  Next week is a different story though!  On Saturday I took photos of Jester the Cocker Spaniel - I will show you pics of him next Tuesday. Hav and I bought skateboards and new bikes this weekend too. Random, I know. I definitely got the skateboard of my dreams which I will also show you next week and the bike of my dreams (Fuji 650) which is on its way from a bike shop in England! So I'm really excited... it should be here next week. Here's a pic of Harley and our friend's cat, Beep.  I thought I heard somewhere that you like black and white animals... I do too! We're catsitting for our ex-neighbors from the loft where we used to live in West Oakland. Beep is a very nice cat! Anyway, will catch u on the flip side - Have a great week! Kira
